Six markets, and tools built around "vs consensus"
This update started from one investor's thoughtful feedback: "Daily price matters less than strength vs consensus — did it beat or miss expectations. The data feels fragmented, and I want a way to read the market, not stock picks." So we moved the product that way.
Six markets
On top of the US and Korea, we added Hong Kong, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Europe. Symbol pages show 🇭🇰🇨🇳🇯🇵🇹🇼🇪🇺 badges with local-currency (HK$·¥·€·NT$) price, earnings, and financials. On the board, $H00700 (HK), $S600519 (China), $J7203 (Japan), $TW2330 (Taiwan), and $E:ASML (Europe) link straight through. Japan's filings now flow in automatically via the FSA's EDINET — our third structured filing source after Korea's DART and the US SEC.
Strength vs consensus
Price moves on expectations, not absolute numbers. The symbol summary now leads with earnings surprise (latest-quarter EPS beat/miss % vs consensus, plus a four-quarter trend) and the target gap (upside to the consensus price target).
Sector Fear & Greed + an AI market view
/sentiment shows a Fear & Greed score (0–100) for 11 US and 11 Korean sectors — five price signals percentile-ranked against each sector's own trailing year — and an AI market view synthesizes the sector rotation into a one-paragraph read on how to position right now.
Quant screener
/screen filters and sorts the universe by market, sector, market cap, consensus upside, and earnings beat.
Key-only + earnings-call commentary
A "Key only" toggle on the event feed cuts the noise, and management commentary from earnings calls — previously buried in a sub-tab — is now surfaced on the symbol overview.
Our principle
bullbear.ninja is not an investment-advisory service. Every indicator and summary is reference material based on public data; the final decision and responsibility are yours.
